| Every Tuesday morning the local Krogen owners get together for breakfast at a local cafe. It is a great way to share information and visit with other owners. |

| Ingred and Ron were our neighbors when we were here last summer. They have remained great friends. Ron had cataract surgery -- hence the sunglasses. We went to their house for a fabulous dinner last week. Ingred makes me a bit insecure -- she can do anything. |

We made a quick visit to St Louis to talk with a surgeon about my knees. He confirmed that the cartilage is gone in both knees. I will have bilateral knee replacement as soon as I can schedule it this summer. An added benefit of the doctor visit -- time with Jennifer and her family. My six plus week recovery will be at their house.......a special thank you to my son-in-law, Ian, for the invitation.

| Christopher turned 7 on Super Bowl Sunday. After breakfast he opened cards and gifts from the family. We all sat mesmerized as he read all of his cards himself. |
The Super Bowl Party was a triple header: Christopher's birthday, the football game and a surprise engagement!
